With Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake’s release just a little over a month away. Goes without saying, Square Enix will be doing a Kuji campaign that should satisfy the most die hard Final Fantasy fan.

As the time of this writing, the Final Fantasy VII Remake Kuji should be available in japan already, obviously, we here at Hobility will try our hardest to procure a few sets for y’all!

Now with all of that out of the way, lets take a look at what awaits you the Final Fantasy VII Kuji, shall we?

A & B Prize

First of, the A prize, we have Final Fantasy’s main protagonist himself, Cloud Strife. This scale figure is approximately 22cm in height, which should fit well in your Ikea Detolf. Additionally, the only accessory that he comes with is his iconic buster sword, and a base to stand on.

Secondly, B prize, is none other than Aerith Gainsborough, arguably the main heroine in Final Fantasy. Similarly, just like Cloud, she scale exactly the same. Accessory wise, she comes with her staff , and a base.

C Prize

As this being Final Fantasy, the franchise would not be complete without an appearance from a Moogle. This Moogle plushy is roughly 30cm. But… hear me out, where’s my Chocobo?!

D, E, & F Prizes

As with any Kuji set, there must the ever present small prizes, or what the community has come to call “traps”. If I’m being honest, they’re ain’t all that bad. It should be noted, merchandise like these are quite unique in their own right.

First of, the D prizes are badges, which represent the characters in the game. For example, we have Cloud’s buster sword, Aerith’s flowers, and Tifa’s gloves.

Second, E prize, five shot glasses, each with different designs. They’ll make great use for those Final Fantasy drinking games.

Lastly, F prizes, towels… basically that’s all, towels.

G Prize

Right at the bottom tier, we have a set of mini figures. The figures are callback to the classic FFVII, as each figure is in their PS1 era polygon models. Judging from past kuji, they should be in the 5cm mark.

Final Prize

Now the main event, Final Fantasy VII’s main baddie, the One Winged Angel, Sephiroth! as Final kuji prizes go, this is certainly worthy of the title ‘Final”. According to sources the figure measures 26cm tall. Furthermore, this is completely accurate since Sephiroth is 6’ 1″ feet tall according to the lore. Lastly, he comes packaged with his katana, the Masamune- spoilers- which was used to kill Aerith; which is common knowledge by now!

Before, I end this post, here’s some pics from last year’s Tokyo Game Show where’d they’d showed off the prototypes to the public. So basically, I hope with this will provide you guys to get a better grasp of what the actual product looks- as oppose to a CG render.
